Cheryl is an elementary teacher from California currently residing in Thailand with her husband and two sons. She is a non-fiction author for Capstone’s Sports Illustrated for Kids Stars of Sports and Passport to the World series and Kane Press’ Eureka! Biography of an Idea series. Her debut picture book WAT TAKES HIS SHOT: THE LIFE AND LEGEND OF WATARU MISAKA is forthcoming from Lee and Low in 2024.
