Pamela Courtney has three loves: teaching, writing, and music. Combining these loves, Pamela created MyLMNOP, a valuable literacy and music program for early learners.
Pamela is the grateful, humble recipient of the following awards: WeNeedDiverseBooks Mentee, Highlights Diversity Fellowship, and the Walter Dean Myers Grant.
Pamela hopes to bring the eyes of an observant classroom teacher to each narrative she crafts, as she engages children in works of history, biographies, folklore, and the mysticism of her rural Louisiana culture.
“My duty is great,” states Pamela.“I am a writer who teaches. I am a teacher who writes.”
